:: Has been preserved through a course design that was meant
to blend into the natural, existing terrain and rolling
foothills of this mountain resort. Nature herself has created
a superb setting for this 6,345 meter, par 72 Championship
course, nestled in the valley and rolling foothills of three
majestic mountains at an altitude of over 500 meters. Golfers
enjoy the clean, cool climate and panoramic vistas of the
surrounding countryside from every hole. Many Guests have
commented that even that little white ball can't spoil this
walk (even if you do take a golf cart)!
:: Is maintained throughout this challenging course designed
by the British Open Champion and winning Captain of the
1998 Presidents Cup Tournament, Peter Thomson, along with
Michael Wolveridge and Ross Perret. These internationally
acclaimed golf course architects, whose pedigree includes
such renowned golf courses as the New Course, St. Andrews,
Scotland; The Royal Hong Kong Golf Club and the Bali Handara
Country Club, have skillfully incorporated Finna's grounds
and natural features into their design to create a golf
experience to rival the best in the world. From the tee,
Guests can look forward to playing their ball along the
rolling fairways, meandering between scattered pot bunkers
and the omnipresent clumps of lemongrass that guard the
edge of the fairways. Thereafter, a cleanly struck wedge
to a large green, nestled in between mounds and hollows
and jealously guarded by a necklace of bunkers, should provide
a birdie opportunity if you are lucky. Hole five, for example
(top picture), is a 184 meter Par 3 that has true Indonesian
flavor with scenic views of the countryside and Mt. Penanggungan
as a backdrop. From elevated tees, where you can also view
the 700 year old Candi Jawi Temple, the shot is played over
traditional rice paddies and a fast flowing stream to a
distant manicured green guarded by pot bunkers and volcanic
rock.

Spike Bar and Golfer's Terrace, the Candi Jawi Restaurant,

The Lotus Chinese Restaurant offers Traditional Chinese
cuisine with an elegant flair. Finna's Hong Kong Chef prepares

entertaining. Overlooking the Swimming Pool, the Pool Café
